Training is on Fridays at Deanes Sports Centre Daws Heath Road Thundersley SS7 2TD.

We have the use of the sports hall as well as the outdoor netball courts.

Girls are split by age group and the training times with effect from September 2024 will be

School year  6 from 4.30 to 6.00pm

Year 7       from 4.30 to 6.00

Year 8       from 4.30 to 6.00

Year 9      from 4.30 to 6.00

Year 10    from 5.30 to 7.00

Year 11.   from 5.30 to 7.00

There may be some occasional variations to this depending on group size and training requirements.

Potential new members from year 6 upwards will be considered but they will be required undertake a three week trial period of training with the respective age group before we confirm that we will be able to offer them a continuing place. This is because we have to limit numbers to fit in with the coaching resources available to train them. We also may undertake a screening process at the end of each year to decide on the squads for the following year.

Training will be on outdoor courts or a mixture of outdoor and indoor training in the sports hall unless it is being used for exams. These times will be advised in advance.

Charges for training are  £45 per term for all age groups plus an annual club subscription of £15 per player.

Training is carried on in all three school terms but not during usual half term and school holidays.

There is no special training kit but players should have sports trousers, warm top plus tee shirt and shorts even in the summer. Players will also be responsible for their own hydration and should bring their own water bottle.

In the event of an accident or Injury this is the procedure that will be followed.
